Vistara website transforms online experience

VISTARA, India’s finest full-service carrier, have launched an all-new website that runs on popular web browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer. The new website transforms the online experience for customers, providing enhanced features, speed, functionality, navigation, and visual appeal, along with an intuitive and clutter-free user interface with all relevant information logically placed and easily viewable.  Club Vistara members can also now view a comprehensive account summary through a simplified, intuitive dashboard-on-a-page.

The new website includes enhanced features such as ability to use promo codes, view tabbed fares by date, fare strike-through display to show applicable discounts visually, and the number of seats available at each fare if less than nine. The website also allows fare displays to be sorted based on user preference, stores recent flight searches, auto-populates Club Vistara customer information, and anticipates the needs of travellers via offers such as upgrades directly in the booking flow. A compact booking summary is visible at all stages of the booking, and bookings whether for flights, hotels, cars, or holiday packages, are now possible seamlessly in as few as three simple steps.

Sanjiv Kapoor, Vistara’s chief strategy & commercial officer, said, “The new Vistara website has been designed from scratch with the sole purpose of making our first point of interaction with our customers as seamless, intuitive, and pleasant as the on-ground and in-flight experience, and empowering them with more choices. It is also aligned with our focus on building a robust digital presence for Vistara and embracing the latest technologies to simplify processes and heighten engagement with our customers. The new website is the platform on which we will be introducing an exciting host of new online products, services, and offers in a phased manner over the coming months.”

Earlier this month, Vistara invited a select number of customers to test the beta version of the new website ahead of the launch, in order to fine-tune the web experience for customers after its release. ‘Vistara Direct’, the unique and exciting program under which customers who book tickets directly on Vistara’s website or on Vistara’s mobile app, will continue to be offered on the new website. Benefits for those booking on the website directly include one free change or cancellation within 24 hours of booking (as long as travel is at least seven days in the future), complimentary fast-track priority handling at the airport at dedicated counters (for check-in, baggage and boarding), double Club Vistara (CV) Points for CV members, and reduced change or cancel fees relative to booking through most third parties.
